Mercedes Diane Griffin Forbes (Diane Griffin) is an internationally recognized expert in gender and sustainability, providing training and consultation to clients in the US, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.


Ms. Griffin is a master of behavioral change communication, helping build teams globally. Currently, she is the CEO and Founding Editor of DG Speaks, an online magazine showcasing diversity-related content in the areas of tech, pop culture, food, wellness, and travel. 


Her former roles include being the Executive Director of the Mercedes Parra Foundation, the Managing Director of the Institute for Humanist Studies, and the Director of Development and Communications for the Washington, DC Humanities Council.


Working in the areas of international development, education, and public policy, her career is focused on promoting gender equity, sustainable economic growth, and positive social development.
